VIDEO: Drama as hotel security foils ritual attempt by suspected ‘yahoo boy’


A suspected internet fraudster, popularly known as a Yahoo boy, was apprehended after allegedly attempting to use a young lady for ritual purposes in a hotel.
The dramatic rescue occurred after a vigilant security guard overheard a suspicious phone conversation and acted swiftly to prevent the tragic outcome.
According to eyewitness reports and a video circulating on social media, the suspect had already tied the victim’s hands and gagged her mouth inside the hotel room when help arrived. The security guard, who sensed something was amiss after listening to the suspect’s discussion with his accomplices about moving the victim for ritual purposes, immediately alerted hotel management.
In the footage, hotel staff and security personnel are seen storming the room, freeing the terrified lady and restraining the suspect before handing him over to authorities. The video also captures shocked bystanders gathered outside the hotel room, expressing outrage over the chilling incident.
