VIDEO: Drama as Nigerian in UK replaces Kemi Badenoch’s alleged stolen items

In a surprising twist following Kemi Badenoch’s comments about theft in Nigeria, a Nigerian man living in the United Kingdom has taken it upon himself to replace the items she claimed were stolen and personally deliver them to her home.
Badenoch, the UK Secretary of State for Business and Trade, had previously accused the Nigerian police of stealing her brother’s shoes and watch during a visit to the country. Her remarks, which sparked widespread reactions on social media, drew criticism and responses, including a comment from Nigeria’s Vice President.
In a video making rounds online, the yet-to-be-identified Nigerian man is seen outside Badenoch’s residence holding a package containing a pair of shoes and a watch similar to those she reported missing. Although Badenoch herself did not appear in the footage, the man handed the items to someone at the door, who politely inquired about his name.

The gesture has garnered varied reactions, with many applauding the symbolic act as a tongue-in-cheek response to Badenoch’s remarks, while others see it as an effort to diffuse the tension between her and her country of origin.
