VIDEO: Fuel scarcity woes: Abuja taxi driver cries out in desperation


Chidiebere, a taxi driver in Abuja, paints a vivid picture of the struggles he faces due to the persistent fuel scarcity in the nation’s capital. “We’re in hell in Abuja,” he laments, his frustration palpable.
Stranded at a filling station, Chidiebere has been unable to work since morning, his livelihood crippled by the unavailability of fuel. The situation is dire, and he’s at his wit’s end. “If we buy fuel at N1200, how much are we going to charge the passengers?” he asks, highlighting the impossible situation he and his fellow drivers face.
The fuel scarcity has brought Chidiebere’s business to a grinding halt, leaving him and many others like him in a state of desperation. The usual hustle and bustle of Abuja’s streets have given way to frustration and anger, as drivers and passengers alike bear the brunt of the scarcity.
