VIDEO: Lady accused of poisoning ex-boyfriend with pepper soup speaks out

Peculiar, the young lady widely known as the “Pepper Soup Girl”, has finally broken her silence after being accused of poisoning her ex-boyfriend and four others with fish pepper soup in 2024.
In a statement that has sent the social media abuzz, she insists that she has been cleared of all charges, claiming the victims died from generator fumes and not from poisoned food.
In a viral video, Peculiar alleged that her ex-boyfriend’s best friend tried to frame her for the deaths. She stated, “I am innocent. I have been cleared of all charges. It was generator fumes that killed my ex-boyfriend and his friends, not pepper soup. His best friend tried to set me up.”

The tragic incident, which initially led to her arrest by the Nigerian police, sent a shock across the social media, with many people becoming cautious of food offered by ex-lovers.
However, netizens are not convinced by Peculiar’s explanation. Many have questioned how all five victims could have died from generator fumes at the same time, with some wondering whether their windows were closed or if other factors were involved. Some online users have even suggested that the case may have been compromised by influential figures.
