VIDEO: Mikel Obi defends Osimhen against greed allegations

Former Super Eagles player, John Mikel Obi, has come to the defense of Nigerian star Victor Osimhen, dismissing claims that he is greedy.
In his podcast, “Obi One,” Mikel Obi revealed that Osimhen never demanded £500,000 a week from Chelsea, contrary to allegations from some football fans.
Mikel Obi, who has been friends with Osimhen since he joined the national team, stated that he is aware of the reasons why Osimhen did not join Chelsea, but emphasized that greed was not a factor. He praised Osimhen’s desire to play football and receive fair compensation, saying, “He only wants to play football and get what he deserves.”
The former Chelsea midfielder’s comments come after Osimhen was accused of being greedy for allegedly rejecting a move to Chelsea. Mikel Obi’s intervention aims to set the record straight and protect his friend’s reputation.
