VIDEO: Mixed reactions as Alex Ekubo’s attempted handshake with Aliko Dangote ignored


A trending video has taken social media by storm, showing Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo attempting to shake hands with billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote, only to be seemingly ignored.
The clip, posted by Obi Cubana on Instagram, captures a chance encounter between Ekubo, Cubana, IK Ogbonna, Dangote, and Femi Otedola at a foreign hotel.
In the video, Cubana exchanges pleasantries with Dangote, followed by Ekubo’s attempt to shake hands. However, Dangote’s attention remains focused on Cubana, leaving Ekubo’s gesture unnoticed.

The video has sparked a heated debate, with some arguing that Dangote did indeed shake Ekubo’s hand, but Femi Otedola blocked it, while others expressed sympathy for the snubbed actor.
