VIDEO: Nollywood actress robbed in Lagos traffic
Popular Yoruba actress, Aolat Ayonimofe, has been left shaken and bruised after a harrowing encounter with traffic robbers in Ogudu, Lagos.
The actress took to Instagram to share her ordeal, revealing that she was attacked and robbed of her expensive necklace, leaving her with deep neck wounds.
Ayonimofe expressed her distress, stating that bystanders watched the incident unfold without intervening. She cautioned her followers to prioritize their safety, saying, “Please be safe out there. Thank God it wasn’t worse than this.”

This incident is the latest in a string of robbery attacks targeting celebrities in Lagos. Filmmaker Chinney Love recently shared her own experience of being robbed on her way to the airport, while reality TV star Yvonne Godswill and actress Ruby Ojiakor have also fallen victim to similar incidents.
Ayonimofe’s colleagues have rallied around her, offering sympathy and support.
