VIDEO: Shock as young man allegedly toed to truck by driver for attempting free ride

A young man was allegedly tied to the back of a truck by the vehicle’s driver and conductor after he reportedly climbed on for a free ride.

The truck, which traveled from Port Harcourt to Ughelli, was eventually intercepted by Nigerian police officers who discovered the man bound with ropes.

A video circulating on social media captures the distressing scene, showing the young man tightly secured with ropes at the rear of the truck.

While the exact reason for the harsh treatment remains unclear, it is widely believed that the man was punished for attempting to hitch a free ride.

When questioned by the police, the young man confirmed that he had been tied up because he climbed onto the truck. However, he was unable to provide further details about the incident. The police officers promptly intervened, untying the man and ensuring his safety. The driver of the truck was not visible in the video, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
