VIDEO: Tinubu minister queue behind Seyi Tinubu for Lagos guber

The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, has publicly thrown his support behind Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, as a possible contender for the Lagos State governorship.
Speculations about Seyi Tinubu’s political ambitions have gained momentum since 2024, driven by endorsements from influential groups such as Friends of Seyi Tinubu (FOST), although Seyi himself has yet to confirm any gubernatorial plans.
In a recent statement, Olawande praised the younger Tinubu for his leadership qualities and dedication to empowering Nigerian youths through various initiatives.
“He is not too young to become a governor; that’s the truth,” Olawande stated. “Seyi is qualified to be the next Lagos State Governor. He is a well-trained young man who has mentored many youths, even before his father became president.”
Addressing the ongoing speculation, Olawande clarified, “Seyi is not behind the campaign for him to become governor. However, everyone has the right to aspire to any position, and public figures often find themselves subjects of speculation.”
