Yache National Cultural Day: YCDA set to hold symposium on community development

Ahead of the Yache National Cultural Day Celebration slated for August 2024, the community is set to hold a one-day symposium on community development.
A statement released Wednesday in Abuja by the YCDA spokesman, Godwin Amunde said the theme of the event is “Culture, A Critical Tool In Sustainable Community Development.”
The statement added that the resource person for the event has a deep knowledge in community matters.
“He will underline importance of using culture as a one of the charitable tools to community development.
“In view of this, all community associations in Abuja are expected to forward names of five (5) representatives to participate in this all important events. This, however does not stop any Yache sons and daughters from attending the event. Our children, between the ages of 7 and 17 years old should also be encouraged to attend.
“We can only leave a solid foundation for our children when we practically inculcate in them our culture, beliefs, values and traditions.
“Community Development is a collective responsibility. Let’s come together and build the Yache of our dreams.”
The event is slated to hold by 12noon at the Heritage Hotel, Opposite Medical Center, Mararaba Nasarawa State, on the 15th June, 2024.
