Christian holds wake keep in honour of The Discoverer Nigeria’s Managing Editor’s late father

Some Nigeria and diaspora were in attendance as Christian Wake held in honour of renowned religious leader, late PA Joseph Ajayi Olagoke the father of The Discoverer Nigeria’s Managing Editor, Bode Olagoke.
The night of tribute that was ahead of final burial for the nonagenarian took place on Thursday, 3rd October, 2024 at Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Saint Peter Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
The Programme that was held under the leadership of Senior Superintendent H.O Adeleke attracted creme de la creme in the society to give notable remarks about life and death of the late Icon.
In his tribute, H.O Adeleke described Baba as an hardworking, trustworthy, religious man who cannot be easily forgotten.
He spoke briefly about the time while both were working at Okeho Iganna Grammar School, noting that, despite Baba’s age, he didn’t handle his job with levity hands.
Children, family, friends and others were not left behind in eulogizing him over his exemplary and remarkable lifetime.
The church was filled to capacity as children, friends, family members and others came to pay their last respect.
