Breaking: Manchester United sack manager, Erik ten Hag

Manchester United have dismissed their manager, Erik ten Hag, after a disappointing start to the Premier League season, the club announced on Monday.
The decision comes on the heels of United’s latest setback, a 1-0 loss to West Ham, marking their fourth defeat in just nine league games.
With the club languishing in 14th place on the Premier League table, the pressure had been mounting on ten Hag to turn around the team’s fortunes. In a brief statement, the club confirmed, “Erik ten Hag has left his role as Manchester United men’s first-team manager.”
United’s lacklustre performances and struggle to find consistency this season ultimately led to the departure of the Dutch manager, who took charge of the club in the summer of 2022. Fans and pundits alike had expressed concerns over the team’s form, prompting calls for a change in leadership as the once-dominant giants of English football seek to salvage their season.
