Nigerian in US Community urged to vote for Kamala Harris

A pressure group based in Nigeria, Remittance Beneficiary Group (RBG) has appealed to the Nigerian Community in the United States of America to vote massively for the Democratic Party candidate, Kamala Harris in today’s presidential election.
According to the group, the victory of Harris would strengthen liberal democracy, not only in the United States but the world in general.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, the Principal Messenger of RBG, Osita Okechukwu, while commending members of the Nigerian US Community who already voted, appealed to the rest to vote Kamala Harris to strengthen world liberal democracy, as today is the day-day.
Okechukwu emphasised that their choice of Harris is borne out of her stance on the rule of law, plan for the middle class and multilateralism in global affairs, and not based on race.
He reminded the Nigerian US Community that their compatriots at home so much cherish the millions of dollars they remit annually to their individual families and would naturally frown at Donald Trump’s victory that threatened to repatriate some of them.
When told that the votes of Nigerians in US is very scanty, Okechukwu responded that in a crucial and consequential election like this, every vote counts.
