Tinubu not bother on 2027 election – Presidency

Presidency has said that President Bola Tinubu is not bothered by speculation surrounding the 2027 presidential election.
This statement was made in response to a comment after Tinubu congratulated Ghanaian President John Mahama on his reelection.
A tweep, @shehu_mahdi questioned whether Tinubu would have the “liver and courage” to congratulate the winner of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election.
He wrote: “Hope he will have the liver and caurage to congratulate the would be winner of 2027 elections, which will happen after the elections. Because there will be no chance to snatch and run away.”
Reacting to the comment, presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga clarified that President Tinubu is fully focused on implementing his economic reforms and addressing the country’s immediate challenges and not thinking about 2027.
“Are you a stargazer, or have you already written the 2027 election result? In Politics 101, we know 24 hours is a long time, not to mention 2027. For now, the President is not bothered by 2027; he is focused on his economic reforms”, Onanuga tweeted.
