Former Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has officially ventured into Nollywood, marking a bold career shift just months after her exit from President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.
Kennedy-Ohanenye, a lawyer, entrepreneur, and political trailblazer, took to her X handle to announce her foray into filmmaking, hinting at an upcoming project titled Hatred. She shared a short teaser with the caption: “HATRED ,” sparking curiosity among her followers.

Having built a distinguished career in politics, Kennedy-Ohanenye has long been an advocate for women in leadership. She joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015 and made history as the party’s first female presidential aspirant in 2023 before stepping down to support Tinubu.
