Bago sympathises with traders over fire disaster in Niger


Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has sympathised with traders around Gwari Market, Minna over the fire disaster that destroyed many shops and goods worth millions of Naira.
In a statement, Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor describes the incident as unfortunate and heart-wrenching.
He says it is sad and painful for anyone to lose his or her source of livelihood, especially in this economically difficult period.
The farmer Governor extends his deepest sympathy and concern to those affected by the fire incident.
He enjoins them to be steadfast in the will of Creator,reminding them that God, who has allowed the incident to happen, can replenish all that they have lost to the fire disaster.
The farmer Governor then directed relevant MDAs to immediately swing into action, to ascertain the cause of the incident with a view to averting recurrence, as well as providing relief to the victims.
He reassured the people that his administration will continue to give priority to issues that affect their well-being.
