Cubana Chief Priest’s alleged brother apologizes after social media feud

Bethel Okechukwu, who was embroiled in a social media controversy involving Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest and singer Burna Boy, has issued a public apology.
The drama began when Burna Boy gifted Okechukwu $30,000 amid his online rift with Cubana Chief Priest. Following the gift, Okechukwu invested the money into a business, earning praise from many who admired his decision.
However, in an interview, Okechukwu expressed regret over his comments about Cubana Chief Priest, admitting that his initial outburst was not out of malice but a desperate attempt to gain his attention. He revealed that he only wanted the businessman’s support in advancing his music career.
“What I had in mind doing that video is just to get your attention for you to pity me and help me musically,” Okechukwu stated.
His apology has since created buzz on social media, with some users questioning his motives while others commended him for taking responsibility.
