Davido’s vacation sparks reactions as Imade’s absence draws attention

Popular entertainment blogger Cutie Juls has ignited conversations online after sharing details of Nigerian superstar Davido’s recent vacation with his children, notably pointing out the absence of his eldest daughter, Imade Adeleke.

The report comes amidst an ongoing custody battle between Davido and his ex-partner, Sophia Momodu, over their daughter, Imade. Sophia had previously accused the singer of neglecting his responsibilities, prompting Davido to file a court petition seeking joint custody.

In a recent Instagram post, Cutie Juls claimed that after Davido’s concert in Nigeria, the music icon jetted off on a family vacation, accompanied by his children and their nursing mothers. However, Imade, the first grandchild of the Adeleke family, was absent from the trip.

Sharing her disappointment, the blogger revealed:

“After David’s last show in Naija, I learned from reliable sources that he jetted out to spend time with his family. This evening, I confirmed he is on vacation with all his children.

But one thing spoilt my mood, and it’s so sad. Again, Imade is not there. All Chairman Adeleke’s grandchildren, including nursing babies, are on this vacation trip, but not Imade.”

Cutie Juls further expressed heartbreak over the strained relationship between Davido and Sophia Momodu, highlighting moments when the Adeleke family had stepped in to ensure Imade’s well-being despite the parental disputes.

“I remember when Imade’s car broke down, how Grandpa Adeleke hurriedly ensured she got a brand-new one for school runs. Watching the videos of this vacation is heartwarming, but it becomes heartbreaking when you realize one child is missing,” she added.

The blogger called on both parents to set aside their differences for Imade’s sake, emphasizing the importance of the young girl building memories with her siblings.

“I thought everything was settled when David called to speak to her on her birthday and sent gifts even though he wasn’t allowed at the venue. But this is unfair. Imade deserves to make memories with her siblings before they all grow up.”
