Hardship: Nigerian pastor declares ‘no more offering’


Pastor of a Lagos branch of the INRI Evangelical Church has declared that there will be no collection of offerings in the church until further notice.
In a video which went viral on Saturday, the cleric was heard telling his congregation that due to the current state of the country, offerings will no longer be collected for the time being
He also urged “all pastors all over the world” to stop collecting offerings for the time being.
He said “Stop collecting offering for now because of the situation of the country. For now, we are pending the offering.
“In our church, we are not collecting offering for now. Come and serve your God, go, until pressure comes down. It is not easy, you are going to your work tomorrow.
“To all pastors all over the world, stop collecting offering for now.”
