Ibadan woman allegedly stabs husband to death

A 33-year-old housewife, Comfort Tinubu, has allegedly stabbed her husband, 39-year-old Olusegun Tinubu, to death in their home in the Adegbayi area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred late on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
According to sources, the couple, who have been married for three years and have two children, began arguing around 10:00 p.m. on the night of the incident. During the dispute, Comfort allegedly locked Olusegun out of their bedroom, escalating the argument into a physical altercation. Sources claim that during the struggle, Comfort stabbed her husband in the back.
The matter was reported to the Gbagi Police Station, and the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adewale Osifeso, confirmed the incident on Friday, November 1. According to Osifeso, the case is currently under investigation at the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department.
“The case is under investigation, and updates will be provided accordingly,” Osifeso said.
Thediscovererng.com reports that this incident follows a recent report of a young woman allegedly poisoning her ex-boyfriend and four others to death, as well as another case involving a young lady accused of poisoning her father.
