A Nigerian hospital has reportedly launched an internal investigation after a patient’s gold teeth were stolen while she was receiving treatment.
The story, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a doctor identified as @RespiratoryDafe, revealed that the hospital staff was thrown into confusion after a patient- an Alhaja, who was placed on a ventilator, had her gold teeth removed before treatment—only for them to go missing.
“They are investigating the whole hospital because they brought an Alhaja with gold teeth on the vent to the unit, and someone stole the gold teeth. ,” the doctor wrote.
