Management of the University of Ilorin has expelled a 100-level student for allegedly demanding a ransom from parents of a missing colleague.

Also, the university rusticated a 400-level student, Segun Micheal Oyewole, for allegedly beating a fellow female student.

The expulsion/rustication of the affected students followed the recommendations of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee at its 220th/221st meeting.
