VIDEO: Verydarkman lashes out after Bolt driver apologizes to ‘slapping lawmaker’

Popular social media activist, Verydarkman, has expressed frustration over a recent viral apology video by a Bolt driver to a lawmaker who allegedly slapped him three times and threatened him just days ago.
The surprising apology video, in which the driver asked for forgiveness from the lawmaker, has sparked mixed reactions online. Many netizens criticized the driver for what they see as a sudden change in stance. While some suggested that he may have received a bribe from the lawmaker, others speculated that he could have been intimidated into apologizing.
Verydarkman, who actively championed the driver’s case when the incident first went viral, took to social media to share his disappointment. He detailed his involvement, stating that he had even petitioned the police to ensure the lawmaker was held accountable. According to Verydarkman, he worked tirelessly to secure justice for the driver, including negotiating compensation worth 5 million naira and a Corolla vehicle after associates of the lawmaker pleaded for a settlement.
However, the activist claims the driver, despite receiving the compensation, distanced himself from Verydarkman afterward. The situation took an unexpected turn when Verydarkman learned that the driver and his brother had reportedly visited the lawmaker’s home, and shortly after, the apology video surfaced.
In his response, Verydarkman voiced disappointment, alleging that the driver had “sold out” and compromised his integrity. Nevertheless, he assured the public that he intends to continue pursuing the case to ensure accountability and justice, promising to reveal more about the situation as new information emerges.
