PDP mourns loss of former chairman

The Sokoto State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is in mourning following the passing of its former Chairman, Ibrahim Milgoma.
Milgoma, a respected leader and dedicated party stalwart, died on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the party described Milgoma’s death as a “colossal loss” that would be deeply felt not only in Sokoto State but also at the national level. The statement praised Milgoma’s immense contributions to the development of Sokoto State and Nigeria, highlighting his instrumental role in the party’s victory in the 2019 general election.
The PDP Sokoto State Chapter remembered Milgoma as a “distinguished gentleman and respected leader” who led the party with dedication and commitment. The statement concluded with a heartfelt prayer, seeking forgiveness for Milgoma’s shortcomings, reward for his good deeds, and strength for his loved ones and the people of Sokoto State to bear the irreparable loss.
Milgoma’s passing leaves a void in the Sokoto PDP, and his legacy will undoubtedly be remembered and cherished by the party and the people of Sokoto State.
