Bago expresses satisfaction over Bida road project

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing 44 km Bida Ring Road project.

He stated this when he inspected the site and the yard of the constructing firm in Bida.

The Governor said he is particularly impressed with the quality and speed of work, as well as the deployment of technology by the construction company.

“I am impressed with the quality of work, speed, and the deployment of technology. They have deployed lots of assets and set up asphalt and crushing plants.

“Most importantly also, they have employed lots of local people which is unprecedented and commendable”.

He encouraged them to continue with the project as expected as funding is available, and as the contractor presents certificate, payment would be made in less than seven days.

The farmer Governor also took time to charge the workers at the site who are mostly youths of the community to be committed in their work to earn legitimate income and avoid stealing and lying.
