Chicago Fire eye Man City De Bruyne

Chicago Fire have made contact with Kevin De Bruyne regarding the possibility of him leading their future plans.
The Manchester City midfielder, who is leaving the English club at the end of the current season, will assess all available options in the coming weeks.
De Bruyne has become a highly sought-after player in the market. The Belgian, who recently announced his departure from Manchester City at the end of the current season, has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Chicago Fire.
The club, which was founded more than 27 years ago, have their sights set on making the playmaker the flagship of their project. This has been reported by Fabrizio Romano, an eminent expert on transfer rumours, who has indicated that the MLS club has already made contact with the player’s entourage.
De Bruyne will analyse all the proposals received over the next few weeks before making a decision. The United States has always been an option for him and he may decide to move to the MLS.
The Belgian player has just over a month of competition left, although his contract expires on 1 July. It should not be forgotten that City are playing in the Club World Cup and the Belgian player could play in that tournament as long as both parties agree to an extension for the duration of his contract.
