Don’t give milk to electrocuted persons, Physician warns

A public health expert, Dr Tuyi Mebawondu, has warned that it is dangerous to give milk to a person who is electrocuted.
He also revealed that giving milk to a person who suffered shock or electrocuted as first aid is dangerous, ineffective and can lead to aspiration.
While speaking in an interview on Saturday also discouraged the habitual flogging of electrocuted.
He described the as an effective means of trying to revive such victims.
