Ganduje mourns as Nze Duru loses elder sister Obuba

The office of the Deputy Organising Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Nse Chidi Duru has announced the passing of Mrs. Stella Njideka Obuba, an elder sister to the party chieftain.
The late Duru’s sister was said to have died after a brief illness.
Mrs. Stella Njedeka Obuba died at the famous Tullamore Hospital, Republic of Ireland, on Thursday, 20th February, 2025.
In a statement released Sunday in Abuja, signed by Duru’s senior special assistant, Dr. Ugboaja Stanley Uzoamaka, said the entire Duru’s family is devastated by the news of her demise, adding that “but we take solace in the knowledge that she lived a life worthy of emulation.
“While we mourn her demise, we are sorely grateful for the exceptional life that she lived and the legacy of hard work, dedication, and commitment to the upbringing of her children and support to community service.
“She funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
“We appreciate your love, kind words, visits, prayers, and support as they navigate through this difficult period.
“She is survived by her two children, aged mother, sisters, and brothers,” Dr. Uzoamaka said.
Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has commiserated with the Deputy National Organising Secretary of the Party, Nze Chidi Duru, over the demise of his elder sister, Mrs Stella Njideka Obuba.
Speaking during the condolence visit on Sunday, February 23,2025 at Nze Duru’s residence in Asokoro, Abuja, the National Chairman prays for the repose of the soul of the late Mrs Stella Njideka Obuba.
Nze Duru expressed gratitude to the National Chairman for his words of encouragement.
