Real Madrid remains world best club – Rodrygo

After reaching 250 appearance for Real Madrid, Rodrygo, openly stated that the team is the best in the world.

The Brazilian also made it clear that his goal is to continue winning “more things” with the club.

Brazilian international Rodrygo Goes celebrated reaching 250 appearances for Madrid last Saturday at El Sadar, already focused on the Champions League tie against Manchester City, to which his team is ‘growing every day and improving

The attacker showed his satisfaction at the performance he is bringing to his team and the feeling with which the squad arrives at the second leg of the knockout round tie, after the first victory at the Etihad in its history.

“I am very happy with my goals this season. The truth is that I want to score many more. I’m getting better every day and I’m in a great moment. The team is also doing very well, growing every day and improving. Now we have important things and difficult games coming up, but we’re fine, focused and we’re going for it”, he told the club’s media.

Before facing another battle against City, Rodrygo spoke about what he has already achieved at just 24 years of age with Madrid, a club for whom he has made 250 appearances since making his debut on 25 September 2019.

“It means a lot to me. It’s a dream that I fulfil every day I’m here, I’m very excited about this record and I want to reach many more. I came to win everything and win titles, but I didn’t imagine I would win everything so quickly,” he said.

“I didn’t imagine I could already have two Champions League titles. I’m very happy and I want to accomplish even more in this shirt,” said a player who has won 13 titles with Real Madrid, scoring 67 goals.
