VIDEO: Nigerian police react to viral clips of Ogun chief’s public assault

The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to a viral video showing Chief Arinola Abraham Love (JP) being publicly assaulted in Ogun State.
In the disturbing footage, which surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), the chief is seen kneeling on a public road while being beaten by some men before being forced to prostrate on the floor.
A concerned user who shared the video wrote:
“I came across a disturbing video online showing Chief Arinola Abraham Love (JP) being subjected to public humiliation and physical assault…”

Reacting to the incident, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi acknowledged the footage, confirming that the police had taken note of the situation. He tweeted:
